The Lake Washington High School girls soccer team defeated Juanita 3-0 on Tuesday in Kirkland thanks to two goals by McKenna Ferrera.

Ferrera got the Kangs on the scoreboard during the 20th minute on an assist by Taylor Sekyra and then scored again just before halftime on an assist by Sammie McChesney.

Sekyra got an goal of her own on an assist by Kang Gracie Sturdevant just one minute into the second half.

Maeve O’Connor and Mikaela Powers teamed up for the shutout in goal.
