Kirkland’s Hot Dog USA jump rope team celebrates 35th anniversary this weekend

The local Hot Dog USA jump rope team, which started at Helen Keller Elementary in Kirkland, is celebrating it's 35th Anniversary from 4-6 p.m. on May 17 in the Bridle Trails shopping center.

The local Hot Dog USA jump rope team, which started at Helen Keller Elementary in Kirkland, is celebrating it’s 35th Anniversary from 4-6 p.m. on May 17 in the Bridle Trails shopping center.

All past and current members are invited and pictures from the past 35 years will be displayed along with uniforms. A slide show presentation and demonstration from the current team will be part of the celebration.

The team, which boasts National and International record holders, is recognized around the world as leaders in the sport.

The Bridle Trails shopping center is located at 6601 132nd Ave NE in Kirkland.
