Kirkland athlete ranks second in University history for the mile

Kirkland resident Dillon Maggard placed second in the mile at the New Mexico-hosted Don Kirby Elite Invitational last weekend with a time of 4-minutes and 3.76-seconds, which ranks second all-time in Utah State University history.

Maggard’s converted mile time of 3:58.45 ranks second in the Mountain West and 17th nationally this season.
