The Kirkland Boys & Girls Club has partnered with the Kirkland American Little League to create a pilot program for 10 year old baseball players. The program allows Little Leaguers to play outside the regular season.

Recently, the team traveled to the Legends baseball tournament in Monroe, where they won the tournament. The team was down by one run going into the six inning, when they rallied for five runs to take the game 7-3.

As part of the program Kirkland American will be offering fall baseball. Double headers will be played on Sunday with hitting and pitching instruction available to anyone interested. The season lasts for six weeks. Registration and more information can be found at www.kirklandamerican.com.
