Kangs volleyball still searching for first win

The Lake Washington Volleyball team is still searching for its first win of the season. The Kangs were shutout by Eastlake Wednesday and Sammamish Monday.

Against Eastlake, the Kangs only managed 17, 18 and 17 points against the Wolves. Sam Brender led the Kangs with 19 assists while Jessie Ross picked up nine kills.

The team only scored 14 points during the first game against the Totems but showed some fight during the second game, getting beat 25-23. The third and final game was a 25-14 blowout.

Brender had 15 assists and four aces to lead the Kangs.

With the losses Lake Washington falls to 0-10 on the season and 0-11 overall.
