Kangs sign on to compete at the college level

Lake Washington High seniors Belle Brandenfels (Seattle Pacific University), Tessa Watkins (Washington State University) and Anna Fridell (Edmonds College) signed their letters of commitment to compete on the college level on Feb. 5, National Girls & Women in Sports Day. Brandenfels is a cross country and track runner, Fridell is a fastpitch softball player and Watkins is a pole vaulter, who set a school record of 12-6 last season in her fifth-place state finish.
