Kangs girls soccer beat by Skyline

The Lake Washington High School girls soccer team lost at Skyline 3-1 to the Spartans Oct. 20.

Skyline took a very early lead, scoring just six minutes into the contest. The Spartans added a second goal at the 30-minute mark. Lake Washington scored an unassisted goal, as Emma Holm cut the lead to just one with a little more than eight minutes left in the game. But the chance to tie the game slipped past the Kangs, as the Spartans put the contest away with a goal in the 77th minute.

The loss drops Lake Washington to 2-5-2 in league play and 2-8-3 overall. The team will travel to Eastlake for a 7:30 p.m. game Thursday.
