The Lake Washington baseball team scored a late run but it wasn’t enough to knock off Bellevue, who held on 6-5 Monday.

The Kangs pulled out to an early 3-0 lead after two innings but the Wolverines scored four in the third and two more in the fourth inning to take a 6-3 lead.

Lake Washington got one run back in the bottom of the fifth and one more in the seventh inning but were unable to plate the tying run.

Victor Mayorquin (2), Zach Johnson and Nick Johnson all collected RBI during the game.
