Juanita softball beats Eastlake in five innings

The Juanita High School softball team beat Eastlake 11-1 in a mercy-rule shortened five inning game Friday.

Juanita scored one run during the first and second innings and then three during the third, fourth and fifth innings.Eastlake committed three errors, while the Rebels collected six hits.

The Rebels were led by Allison Rhodes, who threw a complete game one-hitter.

On offense, Dani Faist, Molly Steck, Aliah Swere and Lindsey Ulbrickson all got a hit and an RBI. The hits for Swere, Steck and Faist were doubles, and Faist scored three runs during the game.

The Rebels will travel to Sammamish to take on the Totems at 4:30 p.m. today.
