Conference coaches voted two volleyball players from Lake Washington and one from Juanita to the Class 3A all-conference second-team in a recent vote.

Juanita’s MacKenzie Boyce made the second-team, along with Lake Washington’s Lexi Lum and Haley Kubik.

Juanita’s Claire Benson and Emily Mikiska made the honorable-mention list, as did Lake Washington’s Renee Leewens and Mackenna Thompson.

Included in the all-scholar seniors were Juanita’s Nathalia Suluaga and Lake Washington’s Hallie Anselmie, Natalie Suvak and Thompson.

Lake Washington went 7-11 overall and 6-8 in conference play, losing in the second round of the conference tournament. Juanita finished the year 3-11, playing all 14 matches in KingCo play.

Coaches voted Mercer Island’s Natalie Robinson as the league’s MVP and Mercer Island’s Susan Rindlaub as Coach of the Year.
