Juanita girls beat Interlake, finish season 8-4

The Juanita High School girls basketball team defeated Interlake Tuesday, 66-49.

Juanita destroyed the Saints during the first half and built a 31-19 halftime lead. The third quarter was more of the same, as the team cruised to its 12th win of the season. Kimberly Baba (13 points) and Kate Cryderman (10) led the Rebels in scoring.

The win puts Juanita just a half game behind Bellevue for second place at 8-4. The Wolverines will host Sammamish Thursday night to close the regular season.
