The Juanita High School boys basketball team edged Lake Washington 74-73 in overtime on Friday in Kirkland.

The Kangs jumped out to a six-point lead during the first quarter but the Rebels scaled it back to a possession game by halftime, 36-33. Juanita finished the third quarter with a four-point lead. The Kangs managed to tie the game by the end of regulation by were outscored 7-6 during the overtime period.
