Juanita crushes Interlake for second straight time | Prep softball

The Juanita High School softball team destroyed Interlake, 13-2, for the second time in four days on Monday in Kirkland.

The win comes on the heels of a 17-1 drubbing of the Saints.

On Monday, the Rebels were led by Madi Hedlund, who threw six innings, giving up one run and striking out 16 batters.

On offense Juanita was led by Gianna Paribello, who was 2-for-3 with a home run; Lexi Blackburn, who was 4-for-4 with two doubles; Hedlund, who was 2-for-4 with a double; and
Briar Swayne, who was 2-for-4.

The Rebels will play at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday at Lake Washington High School against the Kangs.
