The Juanita boys basketball team used a 12-point halftime lead to outlast Interlake 43-36 Friday at home.

The Rebels held the Saints to just four first-quarter points and scored 25 during the first half. But Interlake made a run during the third quarter to cut the deficit nearly in half. Juanita held on through the fourth quarter behind the play of Ryon Cunnigan and Kris Otterholt. The two seniors combined for more than half of the team’s total points with 28.

The Rebels travel back to Bellevue Friday to take on Sammamish at 8:15 p.m.
