Crossfire BU-13 team wins Mount Hood Nike Challenge Gold topflight Championship

The Crossfire Select BU-13 O'Melia team, made up of players from Kirkland along with Redmond, Woodinville and Sammamish, won the Mount Hood Nike Challenge Gold topflight Championship defeating Portland FC B02, 2-0 in the title game.

The Crossfire Select BU-13 O’Melia team, made up of players from Kirkland along with Redmond, Woodinville and Sammamish, won the Mount Hood Nike Challenge Gold topflight Championship defeating Portland FC B02, 2-0 in the title game.

The first goal came from Garret Price and Braden Hoare, who scored the final goal off a set piece from 30-yards out.

The Mount Hood Soccer Tournament took place Aug. 14-16.

Team members include: Beau Hastings, Nicholas Hansen, Luca Andonian, Braden Young, Braden Hoare, Mason Mueller, Jeremy Salmeron, Aanyk Mann, Brooks Frankel, Kristof Deme, Brett Seutter, Mason Garza, Sebastian Kolde, Garrett Price, Nicolas Guinasso. The team is coached by Barry O’Melia with assistant coaches Raj Mann, Brian Mueller and Tim O’Melia.
