Adams leads Juanita past Mercer Island | Prep girls basketball

Tea Adams led the Juanita High School girls basketball team past Mercer Island, 60-53, on Tuesday at Mercer Island.

The Rebels jumped out to a 21-14 lead during the first quarter and stayed just ahead of the Islanders to pick up the win.

Adams finished the game with 27 points, while teammate Jaisa Nunn finished with 10 points and 13 rebounds. Rebel Natalie Kalda also finished with 10 points.
