Well, there seems to be no end of informed opinion about the reasons not to vote for ST3, why we need to keep it the heck out of our town and why it won’t work on the floating bridge despite the assurances of some of the best engineers in the world.

However, not only am I going to vote for ST3, but I’m going to vote for ST4 when they eventually decide to take light rail to Totem Lake on the Cross Kirkland Corridor. There is no reason why the folks in Kirkland should not be enjoying the same wonderful, quiet, and fast transit that they have in Seattle. Currently, we are all trapped creeping along the Kirkland hi and bi-ways on Metro buses. I’m for giving us the first-class ride we deserve.

P.S. Sub-area equity was an abomination in the first ST plan and I’m all for getting rid of it.
