People often talk about giving back to their community but sometimes find its hard to know just how to do that. Viva Volunteers! Fair is a chance to find how you can give back by volunteering your time to worthy organizations.

The fourth annual Viva Volunteers! Fair, from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 15 at Peter Kirk Community Center, will showcase about 20 organizations that need your help. You can talk to people who have been involved in volunteer activities including helping young people, staffing community events, caring for animals, building houses and serving neighbors in need. It’s a free event with door prizes and complimentary snacks.

Presented by the Kirkland Senior Council, the fair offers volunteer experiences to people of all ages through organizations that serve all ages.
