Thumbs up to clean city, down to dirty neighbors in Kirkland

Thumbs up to Kirkland City Councilmember Bob Sternoff for volunteering to pressure wash some sidewalks in downtown Kirkland. Thumbs up to whoever is doing park maintenance on a volunteer basis this summer because of our city’s budget deficit.

Thumbs up

Thumbs up to Kirkland City Councilmember Bob Sternoff for volunteering to pressure wash some sidewalks in downtown Kirkland.

Thumbs up to whoever is doing park maintenance on a volunteer basis this summer because of our city’s budget deficit.

Thumbs up to the large committee that volunteers each year to produce our wonderful Fourth of July celebration.

Thumbs up to all the businesses that recently opened in Kirkland and to the older businesses that are hanging on.

Thumbs down

Thumbs down to ugly yards. People need to keep their yards mowed and weeded.

Thumbs down to the Kirkland neighborhoods that look like used car lots. People need to arrange for storage of whatever it is they keep in their garages. Garages are for cars!

Thumbs down to unsightly RV’s and boats. They shouldn’t be parked in sight of neighbors. Neighbors hesitate to ask you to please move them elsewhere, but believe me NO ONE likes to look at them in their neighborhood.

Thumbs down to the slow development of the Totem Lake Mall. What a waste.

Thumbs down to the man who exposed himself at 0.O Denny Park recently. You should be ashamed of yourself.
