I have a couple of simple suggestions regarding bathroom rules that you won’t read about or hear in the press.
First scenario, you were born a female and are now transgender and identify as a male, dress as a male and look like a male. Simply use the mens bathroom, be discreet, and there won’t be a problem.
Second scenario, you were born a female and are now transgender, identify as a male, dress as a male and you want to shower at the gym you belong to. Temporally change to a more feminine look (attire and ect.) and use the ladies shower room.
A similar common sense solution could be used by someone born male that now identifies as a female.
Now a question: Has anyone in our press explained or given examples of the difference between using the bathroom and using a public shower for transgender people? The answer is no, because if we are divided and throwing insults at each other it sells air time and newspapers. In America today we have a very divisive press, and I would add a divisive president, who want to keep us divided.
I suggest rather than passing laws and issuing directives, we just begin using a little “common sense.”
