Lloyd Marvin Leckness

Lloyd Marvin Leckness was born May 5, 1916 and passed away on September 18, 2013.

He was born in Sisseton South Dakota to Julia and Carl Lekness. The last living of seven siblings and two half sisters. Lloyd and Myra chose Kirkland to live and raise a family. And have lived here in Kirkland since just after the war. Their two son’s were born in the Kirkland Hospital. Lloyd served in the Navy during WWII.

He is survived by his wife of 72 years Myra Mae Cooper Leckness, son Craig Leckness and his wife Stephanie. Lloyd also leaves behind 3 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Bonus daughter Tina Craig, her husband Mike and two son’s.

He is joined among the angels by his daughter Lloyleen and son Todd.

He was loved by all….. may his memory be eternal.
