BETH JEAN WOLF

Born in Bellingham in 1933 and passed peacefully on Nov. 12, 2018 at home in Kirkland, WA from Congestive Heart Failure at age 85. Graduated from Bellingham High and Western Washington College with a BA Degree in Education & Music. Married Stanley Dean Wolf during 1952 Christmas vacation. After graduation Stan and Beth went on Army Active Duty to Fort Ord CA, Austria and Germany. Settled in Renton, WA.

Taught piano & after 4 daughters were in their upper grades, worked in the Renton School District as Manager of the Counseling Center at McKnight Middle School for 15 years. Took early retirement to accompany Stan on business trips including England, Scotland and France. Beth’s sports were tennis, golf, skiing, swimming, fishing, camping & walking.

Following Stan’s retirement she enjoyed her walks with the International VolksWalking Club, traveled in 12 countries and walked over 900 10K walks including all fifty states and the 39 counties of Washington State. At age 75, spent 6 months each year at their winter home at Desert Breezes Tennis Club, Palm Desert, CA. Traveling including visiting their children, grandchildren and their families. Resided in Kirkland for 32 years.

Preceded in death by both parents, brother Bruce & sister Bonnie. Survived by husband Stan; daughters Lora, Cindy (Chase), Betsy & Carolyn (Kent); sister Carol (Merle); 11 Grandchildren and 12 Great Grandchildren.

The family thanks Kaiser Permanente Hospice Team and the many neighbors, friends and relatives for their superior and loving support.

Memorial Cemetery Service will be arranged in early January. You will always be greatly missed.
