The blotter feature is both a description of a small selection of police incidents and a statistical round-up of all calls to the Kirkland Police Department that are dispatched to on-duty police officers. The Kirkland Reporter police blotter is not intended to be representative of all police calls originating in Kirkland, which average about 1,000 per week.
Between Feb. 19-25, there were 211 traffic incidents, 13 traffic accidents, two DUIs, 23 general traffic incidents, 32 alarm calls, five abandoned vehicles, burglaries, five incidents of fraud, five civil incidents, cases of harassment, 19 thefts, nine vehicle prowls, two vehicle thefts, six warrants served, seven noise complaints, one animal call, two incidents of domestic violence, one fireworks complaints, two disturbances, one sex offense, three hit and runs and AA incidents involving at least one arrest.
Feb. 18
A 36-year-old woman was arrested at the Totem Lake Rite Aid after police said she stole six items ranging from a television adapter to mini pliers.
Feb. 21
Three men ranging in age from 21 to 33 were arrested after stealing clothing and linens from Value Village at 12515 116th Avenue Northeast.
Feb. 24
Jeremy Shane Tracy, a 37-year-old white supremacist gang member and registered sex offender was arrested outside Motel 6 on a warrant for second-degree child molestation.
