Update: Holmes Point Drive NE is now open again after it was closed due to unstable hillside. Kirkland Firefighters put out a house fire there over the weekend.

Update: Holmes Point Drive NE is now open again.

A section of Holmes Point Drive NE has been closed due to unstable hillside after firefighters from the Kirkland Fire Department put out a house fire over the weekend. The road will be closed until at least Sunday afternoon, according to KFD.

The KFD responded to the fire at the 11600 block of Holmes Point Drive NE Saturday. Firefighters from Northshore, Bothell and Woodinville also responded.
