Triad Associates of Kirkland volunteers paint apartments for homeless teens

The Master Builders Care Foundation’s 7th Annual Painting a Better Tomorrow event attracted 11 MBA member companies to paint Friends of Youth apartment interiors in Snohomish and King Counties.

The Master Builders Care Foundation’s 7th Annual Painting a Better Tomorrow event attracted 11 MBA member companies to paint Friends of Youth apartment interiors in Snohomish and King Counties. Triad Associates of Kirkland joined more than 150 volunteers for the one day event. The Triad team consisting of Roy Lewis, Jennifer Bixel, Alan Murray, Lonnie Carlson and Alex Roulinski along with Patty Allen from GE, all participated in painting the complex.

Since the inception of the MBA Painting a Better Tomorrow program in 2003, more than 1,200 home building industry volunteers have painted, done minor repairs and made improvements at 42 agencies in King and Snohomish counties. In 2009, volunteers painted the Bellevue Boys and Girls Clubs.

The Master Builders Association of King and Snohomish Counties (www.masterbuildersinfo.com) is the oldest and largest local home builders association in the United States. It is affiliated with the National Association of Home Builders.
