Between Aug. 7-13, there were 362 traffic incidents, 22 traffic accidents, four DUIs, 28 general traffic incidents, 41 alarm calls, 10 abandoned vehicles, eight burglaries, 11 incidents of fraud, six civil incidents, nine cases of harassment, 14 thefts, eight vehicle prowls, one vehicle theft, 13 warrants served, 20 noise complaints, 10 animal calls, 16 incidents of domestic violence, 11 incidents of malicious mischief, six fireworks complaints, 21 disturbances, one trespass, one sex offense, three assaults, four hit and runs and 35 incidents involving at least one arrest.

Aug. 12

Assault: 12:11 p.m., 14200 block of 113th Ave NE. A 19-year-old man was arrested after assaulting his 19-year-old pregnant girlfriend. The couple had been dating for a year and the girlfriend confronted him on his “cheating ways,” which made him upset enough to throw her to the ground and hit her several times. He fled the scene, but came back when and was arrested and booked for domestic violence.

Aug. 11

Warrant: 10:25 a.m., 11700 block of NE 118th St. A 44-year-old man was arrested during his court appearance for an outstanding warrant out of Bothell.

Aug. 9

Theft: 9:20 p.m., 10600 block of NE 68th St. A 29-year-old woman was arrested after attempting to steal items from the Metropolitan Market. During her arrest officers searched her backpack and found heroin and meth. She was processed at the Kirkland Jail and then released. Charges have been filed through investigation.

Malicious Mischief: 7:41 p.m., 13500 block of Juanita-Woodinville Rd. NE. A 47-year-old man was arrested after he rammed his cart into the car of a 51-year-old Redmond firefighter who had stopped to ask if he needed assistance. The man was booked and released, with the case recommended for mental health court.

Assault: 4 a.m., 6700 block of 112th Ave NE. A 27-year-old woman was arrested after assaulting her 27-year-old husband during a dispute, leaving visible injuries to his shoulders and face.

Disorderly conduct: 1:27 a.m., 100 block of Central Way. A group of five men, ages 22-25, were arrested for fighting in public.

Aug. 8

Assault: 12:51 a.m., 200 block of Central Way. A 23-year-old woman was arrested after assaulting her 24-year-old boyfriend.

Aug. 7

Assault: 9 p.m., 4300 block of Lake Washington Blvd. NE. A 61-year-old woman was arrested after assaulting her 59-year-old husband.

Assault: Midnight, 10600 block of NE 59th St. A 52-year-old attempted to force his 52-year-old girlfriend to have sex with him after her attempts to break up with him. She refused to have sex and tried to leave the house. Outside, he chased her and finally slammed her to the ground and dragged her, leaving a cut along her back. When the woman eventually left the house she was transported to Overlake Hospital for treatment. The man fled the scene in his vehicle and was charged for domestic violence.
