Sketch, description of carjacking suspect released by Kirkland police

The Kirkland Police Department released a sketch and description of a suspect accused of carjacking a woman at EvergreenHealth hospital in the Totem Lake neighborhood of Kirkland.

The Kirkland Police Department has released a sketch and description of a suspect accused of carjacking a woman at EvergreenHealth hospital in the Totem Lake neighborhood of Kirkland.

The female victim was using her phone while sitting in her car in the parking lot of Evergreen Hospital, 12040 NE 128th St. in Kirkland at about 10:30 p.m. on April 21. The suspect approached and banged on her window to get her attention. The suspect was armed with what was described as a semi-automatic handgun with a black matte finish and a small amount of silver near the trigger guard.

The suspect is described as a black male adult in his late 20s, approximately 5-foot-8 and a medium build. His skin was a light complexion and he had a “wispy” mustache. The victim described his face as narrow with pronounced creases along the sides.

His jacket appears to be a “Northface” brand, dark green with black under the arms and white branding on the front left breast and back right shoulder. The suspect wore saggy blue jeans and had a black backpack with long straps hanging down. He wore large, bright blue low-cut Nike shoes.
