Rotary Club of Kirkland Downtown is pleased to have the opportunity to partner with The Gardens at Juanita Bay (also known as the “German Retirement Community.”) RCKD enhanced the community’s activity program by helping with the installation cost of a beautiful putting green, hosting a beer tasting at their Oktoberfest celebration and providing stocking stuffers for each resident on Christmas morning. The Gardens is a comfortable, friendly assisted living community that continues to serve those individuals in the area who are socio-economically challenged. This non-profit facility has been a real gem in the Kirkland community for about 75 years and RCKD hopes to assist them in their efforts to serve the elderly in the coming Rotary year.
