Rep. Kuderer among candidates to take Lt. Gov. Habib’s vacated 48th District Senate seat
The King County Council will interview and appoint a new Senator to fill the vacancy created in the 48th District of the Washington state Senate with the election of Lt. Gov. Cyrus Habib tomorrow at 1:30 p.m.
The Council will choose from a slate of three candidates put forward by the Washingto State Democratic Central Committee, including State Repr. Patty Kuderer, Becky Lewis, a member of the FUSE Board of Directors, and Activist Sarah Chandler.
The meeting will be held on the 10th floor of the King County Courthouse, located at 516 Third Avenue in downtown Seattle.
