The Kirkland Kids Triathlon at Juanita Beach Park gives youth, ages 3-12, a chance to participate in a triathlon at 11 a.m. on Sept. 10 at Juanita Beach Park.

The Kids Triathlon includes a 50-yard swim/splash, a half-mile bicycle ride and a 400-yard run.

Pre-registration is available on line at www.kirklandparks.net, course code 48081. Day of event registration opens at 10 a.m. and is subject to availability. Registration fee is $32 per participant and includes a swim cap, t-shirt, and participation ribbon.

The race is non-timed, non-competitive and an excellent opportunity for youth to experience the sport of triathlon. Juanita Beach park is located at 9703 NE Juanita Drive.
