Between Wednesday, Sept. 10 and Tuesday, Sept. 16, the Kirkland Police Department reported 289 traffic violations, 23 assaults (13 domestic violence), 22 car accidents, 20 alarm calls, 17 noise complaints, 15 vehicle prowls, 14 thefts and 13 acts of fraud. At least 35 people were arrested.

Wednesday, Sept. 10

VICE: 3:00 p.m., 12200 block of N.E. 116th Street. A female occupant of a hotel room allegedly hosted a number of men in her room over the course of her stay, prompting management to call police. She later left with a “friend” and refused to speak with the authorities.

Friday, Sept. 12

BURGLARY: 12:28 p.m., 10400 block of N.E. 113th Place. A 25-year-old Bothell man reportedly set off a home alarm after attempting to enter a residence through a window. Police and K-9 later located and arrested the suspect.

Sunday, Sept. 14

MARINE: 9:02 p.m., 2000 block of Rose Point Lane. Loud music from a boat anchored about 100 yards off-shore triggered complaints.

Tuesday, Sept. 16

INDECENT EXPOSURE: 3:53 p.m., 800 block of Lake Street South. A resident reported seeing a man masturbating in a parked four-door Honda sedan near the resident’s home. The man said he was just resting and police found nothing illegal, apart from parking at a red curb.
