City of Kirkland crews were to begin extensive roadway restoration on 100th Avenue Northeast near the intersection of Northeast 120th Street in the Juanita neighborhood today but inclement weather has pushed the project back to sometime next week.

The work will necessitate the closure of 100th Avenue Northeast to southbound through traffic. Local and northbound access will be available. Flaggers will be on site, and detour signs will alert drivers of the closure once the project gets started.

This work is a part of the ongoing city-wide effort to improve the street surface condition. Completing this work during the summer months maximizes the life of the roadway surface.
