The following is a release from the city of Kirkland:
We’re looking forward to seeing you at the Open House so we can continue our conversation about Kirkland’s future. Your input has been invaluable to updating the City’s Comprehensive Plan and developing other long-range plans that will ensure that Kirkland is livable, sustainable, and connected.
We encourage you to get answers about proposed plans to improve traffic, best address future housing and job growth and enhance the Totem Lake area and recreational opportunities in Kirkland. This is your chance to learn about proposed changes to the Comprehensive Plan that reflect what citizens have expressed they want in the future. You will also have an opportunity learn about the City’s Intelligent Transportation System and visit the Transportation Management Center in City Hall.
We think we’re on the right track with proposed goals and policies that support economic development, land use, housing, transportation and other essential services and want to know what you think.
