New Kirkland Wednesday Market manager Jeni O’Neal and Kirkland City Manger Kurt Triplett welcomed dozens of visitors to Marina Park during the market’s opening day on Wednesday afternoon.

A young choir from Bright Horizons preschool sang to commemorate this year’s season, before visitors cooled off beneath tents and looked through organic produce, homemade candles and jewelry, jams, cookies and more.

The Kirkland Wednesday Market runs from 2-7 p.m. every Wednesday through Sept. 25.
