Oct. 3

Workout loss: At 8:19 a.m. in the 12300 block of 120th Place Northeast, a man and his wife went to LA Fitness to work out. The woman was holding his wallet in her bag. And when her back was turned, someone stole it. A stolen bank card was later used at a nearby QFC.

Another kind of party: At 8:37 p.m. in the 9000 block of 132nd Avenue Northeast, a caller could hear live music. It was possibly a concert. It was so loud that the music was “shaking his house.” The man lived across the street from the commotion. There were lots of cars in the parking lot. It was a church event.

Oct. 4

Being neighborly: At 2:09 p.m. in the 13000 block of 101st Lane Northeast, someone received a note from a woman in the apartment complex. The note read, “Stay the F away from my husband.”

Uberly rude: At 2:53 p.m. in the 20th block of Lakeshore Plaza, someone spit on an Uber driver as he was trying to pick up his passengers.

Oct. 10

Contractor issues: At 8:25 p.m. in the 1800 block of 4th Street, a homeowner requested extra patrols on her property. She received threatening phone calls from a former subcontractor. They made threats to damage her property.

Prepping for Halloween: At 10:33 p.m. in the 12500 block of Northeast 85th Street, a man stole $95.67 worth of pumpkin carving knives from the Rose Hill Safeway.
