Between Aug. 22-28, there were 467 traffic incidents, 23 traffic accidents, eight DUIs, 21 general traffic incidents, 34 alarm calls, 11 abandoned vehicles, seven burglaries, 14 incidents of fraud, 13 civil incidents, 10 cases of harassment, 19 thefts, eight vehicle prowls, four vehicle thefts,  21 warrants served, 24 noise complaints, 14 animal calls, eight incidents of domestic violence, five incidents of malicious mischief, three assault, 14 disturbances, and 40 incidents involving at least one arrest.

Aug. 28

Assault: 10:30 p.m., 12200 block of NE 116th St. A 38-year-old man was arrested after he spat into his 33-year-old girlfriend’s face while they were arguing about their relationship.

Aug. 27

Unlawful imprisonment: A 21-year-old man was arrested after he refused to allow a 22-year-old woman to leave his residence by pushing her back and blocking the exit. She started screaming and the man put his hand over her face to silence her.

Aug. 26

Warrant: 1:26 p.m., 300 block of Parkplace Court. A 32-year-old woman and 28-year-old man were arrested after a resident called about a suspicious vehicle in their neighborhood. The vehicle was stopped for expired tabs. The man and woman were arrested for outstanding warrants, the woman for driving with a suspended license, the man for a no bail Department of Corrections escape warrant.

Aug. 25

Theft: 10:40 a.m., 14400 block of 124th Ave NE. A 59-year-old man was arrested for stealing $700 worth of items over a three month period.

Protection order violation: 5:50 p.m., 11200 block of 108th Ave NE. A 37-year-old woman was arrested after she drove drunk to her estranged husband’s house to see her daughter despite a restraining order placed on her for domestic violence. She attempted to open the door and later left. When contacted by officers she performed poorly on a field sobriety test and a breathalyzer test came out at .213.

Aug. 24

Trespass: 1:28 a.m., 100 block of Kirkland Avenue. A 25-year-old man was arrested for trespassing and disorderly conduct at a local bar. He sprinted inside when the door opened and had an altercation with the bouncer. He then proceeded to drop to the floor and clung to the bouncer’s leg until officers put him in handcuffs and transported him to Evergreen Hospital. He is banned from the bar for one year.

Assault: 1:40 a.m., 10000 block of NE 137th St. A 40-year-old woman was arrested after she assaulted a 28-year-old woman in the Safeway parking lot and fled before police arrived.

License suspended: 3:34 p.m., 12200 block of NE 124th St. A 22-year-old woman was arrested after being stopped in traffic. The officer discovered she had a suspended license. She was cited and then later released.

Aug. 23

Rape: 1:50 a.m., 100 block of Kirkland Avenue. A 26-year-old man was arrested after he sexually assaulted a 45-year-old woman in a back alley after she had been drinking with friends and family at a local bar. The victim was taken to Evergreen Hospital for evaluation.

Aug. 22

Warrant: 7:45 p.m., 12200 block of NE 110th LN. A 24-year-old man was arrested after his mother called police, claiming he was being verbally abusive and screamed in her face. Although officers determined it had only been verbal, they discovered he had an outstanding warrant for driving with a suspended license.
