Between May 2-8, the Kirkland Police Department reported 527 traffic violations, eight DUIs, 15 school zone traffic violations, seven animal calls, 28 alarm calls, 12 noise complaints, three juvenile crimes, 11 calls of disturbance, 25 thefts, eight car prowls, three car thefts, 26 traffic accidents, six calls of civil disturbance, one reported burglary, nine domestic violence calls, six calls for harassment, five reports of illegal drugs, three alleged assault, six acts of fraud, seven malicious mischief reports, five sex offenses and three suicide calls. At least 40 people were arrested.

May 8

Warrant: 12:49 p.m., 11500 block of NE 118th St. A 31-year-old man was arrested for an outstanding warrant. While transporting the man to the Kirkland Jail, the officer found a prescription pill on the seat.

Warrant: 11:45 p.m., 9700 block of NE Juanita Dr. A 21-year-old man was arrested on a no-bail DUI warrant out of Shoreline. His Ford Explorer was impounded.

May 7

Assault: 3:06 p.m., 94000 block of NE 137th St. A 17-year-old boy was arrested after assaulting his father. He allegedly admitted to the assault.

May 5

DUI: 12:34 a.m., 12400 block of NE 116th Ave NE. A 29-year-old man was arrested for driving under the influence after being stopped in traffic. He performed poorly on a sobriety test and initially refused a breathalyzer test. He was later released and cited.

May 4

Warrant: 8:07 a.m., 87000 block of Northbound 405 NE. A 34-year-old woman was arrested for an outstanding DUI warrant out of Bellevue.

May 3

Prostitution: 9 p.m., 10500 block of Northup Way. A 20-year-old woman was arrested for prostitution.

Warrant: 9:16 p.m., 12300 block of 5th Ave NE. A 53-year-old woman was taken into custody in Lynnwood after being arrested in Marysville on an outstanding warrant in Kirkland.

May 2

Robbery: 1:46 p.m., the 86000 block 120th Ave NE. A 19-year-old man was arrested after attempting to steal a Samsung Galaxy Pro Tablet by cutting the security cable. When confronted by employees the man fled on foot and was apprehended.

Warrant: 7:02 p.m., 14400 block of 124th Ave NE. A 46-year-old man was arrested for an outstanding felony warrant out of Seattle for dangerous drugs. He was released to Seattle police.

Assault: 8:05 p.m., 30800 block of Kirkland Ave. A 52-year-old man was arrested for assault in the fourth degree after a high school baseball game.

Theft: 10:10 p.m., 12000 block of 120th Pl NE. A 30 year-old man and 40-year-old man were arrested after stealing a cell phone.

Identity theft: 7 a.m. and 7 p.m., 12200 block of 131st Pl NE. A 21-year-old woman was arrested after being reported by her father for ongoing theft issues.
