Lake Washington School District has 38 students who have auditioned and been selected for Washington Music Educators Association (WMEA) Junior All-State ensembles. Twelve of them are from Kirkland.
Students from Finn Hill Middle School (FHMS), International Community School (ICS), Kamiakin Middle School (KaMS) and Kirkland Middle School (KiMS) were selected. These students will perform at the WMEA conference in Spokane, Wash. on Feb. 14.
