Three LWSD students placed and three others finished in the top 10 at the DECA International Career Development Conference held in Orlando, Fla., April 24-29. Students from Eastlake High School (EHS), Juanita High School (JHS), Lake Washington High School (LWHS), and Redmond High School (RHS) participated.

In total, 15,000 students from seven countries competed in role plays, tests, written business plans, and presentations. Here are results for Kirkland students: Oliver Jones, JHS – top 10 on the Principles of Marketing test; and Arman Talkar, LWHS – top 10 on the Human Resource Management test.
