LWHS awarded Louise Sheeley Scholarships by PTSA

Each year, Lake Washington PTSA awards the Louise Sheeley Scholarship in honor of Louise Sheeley, a former LW counselor. The recipients demonstrate a commitment to excel in all aspects of life, setting a standard for their fellow students to emulate.

All of this year’s recipients are outstanding students that succeed in challenging courses and are highly thought of by their teachers. Each of them commit much of their time, energy, and talent toward service to Lake Washington High School and the Kirkland community.

The Lake Washington High School PTSA is proud to award the 2009 Louise Sheeley Scholarships to Kayla Allen, Vera Hoang, Andrea Navarre, and Kate Rasmussen. Kayla Allen and Vera Hoang plan to attend the University of Washington; Andrea Navaree plans to study at Gonzaga University; and Kate Rasmussen intends to pursue her studies at the University of San Diego.
