Kirkland physician and editor and publisher of the Townsend Letter was presented with two awards from Emord and Associates. Dr. Jonathan Collin received the Excellence in Integrative Medicine award and the Excellence in Medical Journalism award during the Sacred Fire of Liberty Gala Sept. 5-6 in Cambridge, Maryland.

The constitutional and administrative law firm Emord & Associates, P.C. held the spectacular celebration and awards program at the Cambridge, Maryland Hyatt Regency Resort on the occasion of its 20th anniversary and in honor of George Washington.

The event was entitled the “Sacred Fire of Liberty Gala” and included more than 300 people, inclusive of guests, speakers and world class entertainers.

From nominations received throughout 2013 and 2014, an awards committee of the Emord firm selected the individuals to receive excellence awards.
