Two Lake Washington School District students, Shelby Jennings from International Community School and Elizabeth Alexander from Lake Washington High School, are among the 1,600 Black American high school seniors who have been designated as semifinalists in the 2012 National Achievement Scholarship Program.
This program is a part of the National Merit Scholarship Corporation and recognizes scholastically talented young men and women.
