Kirkland schools celebrate Computer Science Education Week

The Lake Washington School District celebrated Computer Science Education Week in Washington with many schools participating in Code.org’s “Hour of Code” event on Dec. 12.

At Finn Hill Middle School, students were joined by special guests Congresswoman Suzan DelBene and Code.org CEO Hadi Partovi. Students at John Muir Elementary also took part in the Hour of Code, with the help of parent volunteers.
