Kirkland schedules open house for bike lane, sidewalk ideas

The Kirkland Transportation Commission plans to create a walking network that connects sidewalks to key locations such as shopping areas, parks and bus routes, as well as a network of bicycle facilities that connect Kirkland to regional destinations.

The Kirkland Transportation Commission plans to create a walking network that connects sidewalks to key locations such as shopping areas, parks and bus routes, as well as a network of bicycle facilities that connect Kirkland to regional destinations.

Proposed sidewalk and bicycle lane projects will be presented at a June 19 Open House from 5:30 to 8 p.m. at Kirkland City Hall, 123 5th Avenue. The proposed projects are part of the City’s Non-Motorized Transportation Plan revision process.
