Kirkland residents pass Washington State Bar Exam

The Washington State Bar Association (WSBA) announced that 625 candidates passed the Bar Exam administered in July 2010, at Meydenbauer Center in Bellevue and Spokane Convention Center in Spokane.

The Washington State Bar Association (WSBA) announced that 625 candidates passed the Bar Exam administered in July 2010, at Meydenbauer Center in Bellevue and Spokane Convention Center in Spokane.

Of the 922 candidates who took the exam, 67.8 percent passed.

The following Kirkland residents passed the exam: Arpin, Anthony J.; Bruce, Kyle Conerly; Burk, Dustin Keith; Franzel, Ian; Holmes, Stephanie C.; Isaacson, Mari K.; Kim, Rachael H.; Larsson, Mark Magnus; Latta, Laura Lynette; Malmstrom, Angela; McFarland, Julie Eileen; Neilson, Aaron Michael; Pettersen, Michael M.; Porter, Carolyn R.; Sadlier, Amanda Loreen Kale; Schoentrup, Drew W.; Whitney, Emily Kathryn; and Yamashiro, Nancy Leiko.

Administered in two parts over a three-day period, the Bar Exam includes a substantive law exam and an exam on the Rules of Professional Conduct (ethics). Candidates must successfully pass both parts in order to qualify for admission to the WSBA.
