Kirkland Reporter changing to Friday publication day beginning Aug. 13

The Kirkland Reporter newspaper is changing from a Wednesday to a Friday publication.

The Kirkland Reporter newspaper is changing from a Wednesday to a Friday publication beginning on Aug. 13. The Reporter will not publish an issue for Wednesday, Aug. 11.

The change will accommodate local and national retailers to promote their weekend sales in a more timely manner on Friday.

The new publication day will also affect news and advertising deadlines. For the news office, the new content deadline will be 5 p.m. on Monday for that week’s issue.

The new advertising deadline will be noon on Tuesday. Both of these deadlines will begin next week.
