Kirkland police seek suspect in two attempted ATM robberies

Kirkland Police Department Detectives are investigating two attempted armed robberies that occurred on Dec. 3.

Kirkland Police Department Detectives are investigating two attempted armed robberies that occurred on Dec. 3.

The first incident occurred just after midnight at the US Bank ATM located at 13233 100th Ave. NE.  The second incident happened later that day, about 9:30 p.m., at the BECU Bank ATM located at 11416 NE 124th Street.

During both incidents, the suspect was described as a white male adult, 20-30 years old, medium height and build. The suspect was wearing a tan Carhartt “hoodie” type sweatshirt and possibly eyeglasses.

In both incidents, the suspect either implied a knife or the knife was seen by the victim.

The victims were not injured and the suspect left the area each time before getting any money or valuables.
