Purrfect Pals, a no-kill cat shelter and sanctuary based in Arlington, recently opened a new adoption room at the Kirkland PETCO store.

“We are so excited about the new adoption room. Previously, PETCO had housed some of our cats in kennels up by the registers, but now they have allocated an entire room for our adoption program here,” said Lead Volunteer Connie Gabelein.

Gabelein said that having an enclosed room provides a quieter, less stressful place for the cats and also provides space for the cats to come out to play and interact with visitors.
