Kirkland home prices were up 7.4 percent compared to April of last year, according to the Redfin Real-Time Home Price Tracker.
Sales fell 12.5 percent and the number of homes for sale increased 0.3 percent during the same time frame. April’s median price for all homes in Kirkland was $456,750. The median home price for single family homes was $542,150 and $327,000 for condos.
“After two years of dramatic price gains, the less-than-double-digit increases we’re now seeing, paired with inventory hikes, indicate that the overall market is becoming a healthier and more stable place, which is mostly good news for homebuyers,” said Kafia Hosh of Redfin.
