Kirkland firefighters collect for Hopelink

Kirkland Fire Department’s annual Christmas Basket Program has begun. Through this program the community can make donations to those will little to no income during the holidays. Anyone interested in participating may consider donating the following items (all new and unwrapped): non-perishable food (with unexpired date on products); baby and child items (such as diapers); winter clothing, especially warm coats, blankets and toys.

Hopelink will distribute these items to their clients at Christmas time.

Donations may be made at any of Kirkland’s Fire Stations from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., Monday – Sunday: Sta. 21 – 9816 Forbes Creek Dr.; Sta. 22 – 6602 108th Ave. N.E.; Sta. 25 – 12033 76th Pl. N.E.; Sta. 26 – 9930 124th Ave. N.E.; and Sta. 27 – 11210 NE 132nd St.
